I want to help you make your home personal, find your decorating confidence, and demystify the shopping experience. I know how confusing it can be when you are strolling through Homegoods looking for a pillow, and seeing so many bright shiny objects and not knowing which is right for you.
My career in home interiors has spanned almost 20 years. Long ago armed with a degree in the visual arts I stumbled into a job in an inspiring retail boutique. Here I fell in love with home decor and retail visual display. I went on to become a design consultant working for well known businesses such as Expressions Custom Furniture Ethan Allen and Nordstrom. Before eventually moving on to become Visual Director of Misto Lino. A multi unit store located in the bay area which carried product such as gorgeous European antique furnishings, Italian linens, bedding and home decor.
As Visual Director I was creating eye catching displays which also positioned items to sell to the customer. This unique skill of selling through creative display became my passion and I went on to own my very own brick and mortar home furnishings retail shop in the Foothills.
Throughout this time I had many requests to help customers in their own homes. So when the (2010) recession hit and I sadly closed my store. I then turned my visual talents again towards home interiors, staging, styling and paint consultation. With a keen eye for all interior styles my desire is to assist people with the task of manifesting their wished for house.
